HGV Technician – Rotating Shift – Glasgow

About the role

Scania is seeking an HGV Technician to join its Glasgow workshop on a rotating shift pattern. You will work on a range of heavy commercial vehicles, delivering high‑quality servicing, maintenance and repairs while adhering to strict health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled servicing, diagnostics and repairs on HGVs, LCVs and related vehicle types.
• Maintain workshop equipment and ensure a clean, safe working environment.
• Follow company procedures and documentation for all work performed.
• Participate in on‑the‑job training and continuous development programmes.
• Work collaboratively with the service team to meet production targets.

Required profile

• Experienced technician with a background in HGV, LCV, car, agricultural, plant or military vehicle maintenance.
• Willingness to work a rotating shift schedule (two‑week pattern).
• Commitment to health and safety and quality standards.
• Ability to follow technical manuals and service procedures.
