HGV Technician – Southampton (Various Shifts)

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, routine maintenance and repairs on HGVs and related vehicle types.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using appropriate diagnostic equipment.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate service records and complete required paperwork.
• Collaborate with the workshop team to meet production and service targets.

Required profile

• Relevant qualifications or proven experience in HGV, LCV, car, agricultural, plant or military vehicle maintenance.
• Willingness to work various shifts, including overtime when required.
• Commitment to health and safety and ability to work in a busy workshop environment.

Required skills

• Servicing heavy commercial vehicles.
• Performing maintenance tasks on trucks and related equipment.
• Conducting mechanical and electrical repairs.
