HIAB HGV Driver Class 2

About the role

Travis Perkins is hiring a full-time, permanent Class 2 HGV driver in Tonbridge, Kent. The driver delivers building materials from the branch to local customers, using a HIAB lift truck, with sociable hours and no evenings or overnights.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver building materials from the branch to local customers, keeping everything safe and sound.
• Load the vehicle with the HIAB, check that it is properly packed and legal, and drive professionally.
• Make around 14 drops a day, then return to the branch to reload when needed.

Required profile

• Class 2 driving licence (Category C) and up-to-date CPC records.
• Has held a Category B licence for 12+ months.
• HIAB driving experience is required.
• Confident building and developing relationships with customers.
• Prioritises safety in every task.
