High Net Worth Private Client Solicitor – Leeds

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Private Client Solicitor to join our well‑established UK Top 100 law firm in Leeds. You will work alongside experienced partners and specialists, handling a varied caseload of high‑net‑worth client matters while developing your technical expertise and client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and review wills, providing estate‑planning advice and inheritance‑tax mitigation strategies.
• Create, administer and advise on trusts, including ongoing trustee support.
• Manage probate and estate administration for high‑value and complex estates.
• Prepare lasting powers of attorney, deeds of variation and business succession plans.
• Advise clients with UK and overseas assets, collaborating with accountants and financial advisers.
• Support senior team members on more complex transactions and contribute to business development activities.

Required profile

• 3–6 years post‑qualification experience in private client work.
• Proven ability to handle a broad range of private client matters independently.
• Strong technical knowledge of wills, probate, trusts and estate planning.
• STEP qualification desirable, or willingness to work towards it.
