About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a school in Bexley from October 2026. The successful candidate will work across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, supporting pupils individually, in small groups or whole‑class settings as required.
Required profile
- Hold relevant HLTA experience or qualifications.
- Have experience working across KS1 and/or KS2.
- Be confident supporting pupils 1:1, in groups and across whole‑class settings.
- Be flexible, enthusiastic and able to adapt to different needs.
- Have strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Be committed to supporting pupils' learning, progress and wellbeing.
- Have a fully enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for a new enhanced DBS.
