Higher Level Teaching Assistant – Early Years (Full‑time)

About the role
The school is seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join its early years team on a term‑time, full‑time basis. You will work in a supportive, high‑achieving primary setting, helping to deliver high‑quality teaching and learning for young pupils.
Key responsibilities
- Lead whole‑class learning sessions when required.
- Provide targeted interventions and small‑group support for early years pupils.
- Collaborate with teachers across the school to maintain high standards of teaching and pupil progress.
- Support the early years (Nursery or Reception) curriculum and daily routines.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA, preferably in early years.
- Organised, proactive, and enthusiastic about supporting children’s learning.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a school team.
Required skills
- Experience delivering whole‑class and small‑group instruction.
- Knowledge of early years educational practices.
