About the role

We are looking for qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) who want flexible, rewarding supply work across primary and secondary schools in Swindon. Whether you prefer short‑term, long‑term or day‑by‑day assignments, you will be placed in a variety of school settings to support teaching staff and pupils.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver planned lessons when the class teacher is absent.
• Provide classroom support across multiple year groups.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Assist pupils in reaching their full potential.
• Help sustain an engaging and orderly classroom atmosphere.

Required profile

• Relevant HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience working in a school setting.
• Strong classroom management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
