About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a friendly staff team at a primary school in Greenwich. The role is full‑time during term dates and offers the chance to make a positive impact on pupils’ learning.
Key responsibilities
- Lead learning activities across the school, including whole‑class cover when required.
- Support teachers with planning, preparation and assessment.
- Deliver targeted interventions to help pupils progress.
- Work closely with children of varying abilities, including those with SEN.
- Contribute to a positive learning environment.
Required profile
- Hold HLTA status (qualification or experienced‑led programme).
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Confidence in leading groups.
- Passion for supporting children’s learning.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
