Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Full‑Time

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our primary school team on a full‑time, permanent basis starting September 2026. The role involves supporting learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 and delivering planned learning activities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver planned learning activities to individuals, groups and whole classes.
• Support teaching and learning across KS1 and KS2.
• Lead whole‑class sessions when required.
• Promote high standards of achievement, behaviour and inclusion.

Required profile

• Holds HLTA status or equivalent qualifications and experience.
• Experience working within a primary school setting.
• Confident supporting learning across both KS1 and KS2.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates flexibility, initiative and a positive attitude.
• Committed to promoting high standards for all pupils.
