About the role
Prospero Teaching is looking for a confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support learning across the school, deliver targeted lessons and help create an inclusive environment for all pupils.
Key responsibilities
- Lead whole‑class, group or individual learning sessions.
- Assist with Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and monitor pupil progress.
- Maintain a calm, structured and supportive classroom atmosphere.
- Share expertise with colleagues and provide training where needed.
- Supervise pupils on trips and off‑site activities.
Required profile
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience in education.
- Strong communication skills and clear instruction delivery.
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND.
- Ability to work independently and lead whole‑class learning when required.
- Patient, empathetic and committed to individual pupil needs.
