About the role
We are looking for a confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Rochester. Working across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, you will support pupils’ learning and help maintain a positive classroom environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support pupils in KS1 and KS2 with daily learning activities.
- Deliver planned lessons in the teacher’s absence.
- Lead whole‑class learning sessions when required.
- Assist in creating an engaging and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Required profile
- Previous experience as an HLTA or similar role in a primary school.
- Experience supporting pupils across both KS1 and KS2.
- Confidence delivering lessons and managing classroom behaviour.
- Excellent communication and a proactive, flexible attitude.
