Higher Level Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Bromley) – £110‑£140/day

About the role

We are seeking a confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a primary school in Bromley. The role is full‑time with an immediate start and offers a daily rate of £110‑£140, dependent on experience. You will work with pupils aged 4‑11, supporting teachers to deliver targeted interventions and providing whole‑class cover when required.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver targeted interventions for pupils across a range of abilities.
• Provide whole‑class cover and assist with lesson delivery as needed.
• Monitor and record pupil progress and support behaviour management.
• Contribute to the planning of learning activities and resources.
• Help create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment.

Required profile

• Previous experience working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant.
• Ability to deliver interventions and lead whole‑class learning.
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with teachers and pupils.
• Reliable transport to commute easily to Bromley.

Required skills

• Experience delivering educational interventions.
• Capability to support whole‑class teaching and cover lessons.
• Knowledge of primary‑age curriculum and assessment practices.
