About the role
We are seeking an ambitious Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a supportive primary school in Waltham Forest. This full‑time position starts in September and offers a competitive daily rate, providing a valuable stepping‑stone toward teacher training.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver planned lessons when the class teacher is absent.
- Lead intervention groups and provide targeted support to pupils across year groups.
- Collaborate with teachers to raise attainment across the curriculum.
- Maintain excellent classroom management and adapt to diverse learning needs.
Required profile
- Minimum three years’ experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school.
- Strong communication skills and confidence supporting pupils of different ages.
