About the role
We are seeking a confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a primary school in Southwark. The role supports pupils aged 4‑11, delivering targeted interventions and providing whole‑class cover when needed.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver targeted interventions for pupils across a range of abilities.
- Provide whole‑class cover and assist teachers with lesson delivery.
- Monitor pupil progress and support behaviour management.
- Contribute to planning learning activities and creating an engaging environment.
- Support teaching and learning across the primary age range.
Required profile
- Previous experience working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant.
- Confidence delivering interventions and leading whole‑class learning.
- Ability to commute easily to Southwark.
- Proactive, reliable and able to start immediately.
