About the role
We are looking for an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join a well‑regarded primary school in Wigan. You will provide morning class cover across KS1 and KS2 and deliver dedicated IT sessions in the afternoons.
Key responsibilities
- Cover whole‑class teaching across various year groups in the mornings.
- Deliver IT lessons to pupils in the afternoons.
- Support class teachers with lesson planning and preparation.
- Provide small‑group support for pupils who need extra help.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant.
- Ability to cover full classes and work flexibly across year groups.
- Good knowledge of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum (preferred).
- Enthusiastic, approachable and able to start immediately.
