About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic History Teacher to join a secondary school in Bognor Regis. The role involves delivering engaging, thought‑provoking lessons that bring the past to life and develop students' critical thinking and communication skills.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high‑quality History lessons for Key Stage 3 and 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5).
- Maintain strong classroom management and inclusive learning environments.
- Collaborate with the Humanities department to achieve excellent student outcomes.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching History at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Passion for inspiring young people and fostering a love of history.
