About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic History Teacher to join a secondary school in the Chichester area, starting in September. The role is full‑time within a supportive Humanities department, delivering engaging lessons for Key Stage 3 and 4 and, where appropriate, Key Stage 5.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess History lessons for KS3 and KS4 (and KS5 where needed).
- Maintain strong classroom management and promote inclusive learning.
- Contribute to departmental planning, curriculum development and school-wide initiatives.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to students to develop critical thinking and analytical skills.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
- Proven experience teaching History at KS3 and KS4.
- Excellent classroom management and ability to inspire pupils.
- Commitment to inclusive, student‑centred teaching.
