Home Manager – Elderly Care (Newcastle)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Home Manager to lead a well‑established residential care home in Newcastle. The role involves full responsibility for day‑to‑day operations, ensuring high standards of care, regulatory compliance and operational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily running of the care home, maintaining exceptional care standards.
• Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and successful inspections.
• Manage occupancy, budgets and resources effectively.
• Lead, motivate and develop the care team, fostering a positive culture centred on resident wellbeing.
• Monitor and improve operational performance and quality outcomes.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Home Manager in an elderly residential care setting.
• Strong understanding of CQC regulations and compliance processes.
• Proven track record of maintaining high standards and leading successful inspections.
• Approachable leadership style with ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Experience in occupancy, budget and people management.
• Passion for delivering person‑centred care.
