Home Visits Optical Assistant – Flexible Full/Part‑time

About the role

Join Specsavers as a Home Visits Optical Assistant and bring eye‑care services directly to patients who cannot attend a store. You will travel across South West London and Greater London, delivering professional optical dispensing in a variety of home settings.

Key responsibilities

• Visit patients at their homes to perform eye examinations and dispense spectacles.
• Provide personalised advice on lens options, frame selection and eye‑health maintenance.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with health‑care regulations.
• Manage travel schedule efficiently to cover multiple locations each day.
• Collaborate with the wider Specsavers team to uphold service standards.

Required profile

• Current or recent optical experience (6‑12 months) with the ability to dispense at all levels.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including a minimum of three days per week for part‑time roles.

• Salary up to £28,000 per year (pro‑rated for part‑time).
