Homeless Support Worker Assistant – Wokingham

About the role

Join Two Saints in Wokingham as a Homeless Support Worker Assistant. You will help people experiencing homelessness build confidence, develop essential life skills and move towards stable housing through compassionate, person‑centred support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide guidance, encouragement and practical assistance to clients.
• Support clients in identifying strengths, setting goals and accessing services.
• Work proactively within safeguarding policies and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with the wider team to deliver a coordinated support plan.
• Participate in team meetings and training to continuously improve service delivery.

Required profile

• Genuine interest in homelessness and related social issues.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word.
