Hospital Outpatient Pharmacist – Salford

About the role
We are seeking a qualified Pharmacist to join a dynamic Hospital Outpatient Department in Salford. The role offers extensive specialist training and exposure to a busy pharmacy environment that supports dermatology, haematology, oncology and A&E services.
Key responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and in line with legal and ethical standards.
- Provide medication counselling and address patient queries.
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals to optimise patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory.
- Offer advice on over‑the‑counter products and healthcare items.
Required profile
- Registered pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Proven experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably within a hospital.
- Strong commitment to patient safety and care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team.
