About the role

Spire Clare Park Hospital is seeking an experienced pharmacist to join its busy pharmacy team in Farnham. This permanent, full‑time position plays a vital part in delivering safe, effective, and high‑quality pharmacy services across the hospital.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a comprehensive pharmacy service throughout the hospital.
• Provide expert advice to consultants, nurses and clinical teams on safe, effective, and cost‑efficient use of medicines.
• Contribute to personalised, patient‑centred care with empathy and professionalism.
• Develop collaborative relationships with multidisciplinary teams to improve clinical outcomes.
• Identify and implement service‑improvement opportunities, including new processes or equipment.
• Maintain up‑to‑date clinical knowledge in line with evolving prescribing practice.

Required profile

• Degree‑qualified pharmacist with current GPhC registration.
• Minimum 1 year post‑qualification hospital experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage with patients and clinical colleagues.
• Motivated to deliver high‑quality pharmacy service in a hospital environment.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Non‑medical prescribing qualification desirable.
