Hospitality Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Hospitality Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operations of a high‑quality residential property in Cheshire. The role is hands‑on, customer‑focused and responsible for delivering an exceptional resident experience while maintaining operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the on‑site team to provide outstanding customer service.
• Oversee all aspects of property operations, ensuring high standards of presentation, health & safety and compliance.
• Manage budgets, monitor expenditure and identify efficiency improvements.
• Produce operational reports, maintain accurate records and oversee maintenance and contractor performance.
• Handle resident enquiries and complaints, ensuring a positive experience.
• Administer occupancy, resident paperwork and rent collection processes.
• Conduct regular site meetings, coaching sessions and performance reviews.
• Build strong relationships with contractors, external agencies and local stakeholders.
• Respond to emergencies and support operational needs as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Hospitality Manager, Residence Manager, Building Manager, General Manager or Site Manager.
• Proven ability to manage teams in hospitality, residential property or student accommodation environments.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication abilities.
• Excellent customer‑service orientation with effective issue‑resolution skills.
• Experience in budget and operational performance management.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and work under pressure.
• Positive, proactive and detail‑oriented approach.
