About the role
Join the dedicated Catering & Retail team at Barton Peveril Sixth Form College and help deliver a first‑class catering experience for students, staff and visitors. This part‑time position works across several on‑site outlets, providing friendly, efficient service in a fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food and beverages to internal and external customers.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety and presentation across all catering outlets.
- Handle cash transactions and operate point‑of‑sale equipment.
- Work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and occasional days outside term time.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
Required profile
- Enthusiastic and customer‑focused attitude.
- Previous experience in a hospitality or catering setting.
- Ability to work varied hours and adapt to changing demands.
- Strong communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
