Host – Dining Services (Full‑time, Temporary)

About the role

The Host will create a warm, welcoming, and well‑organised dining experience for residents, visitors and staff at Manor Grange Care Home. Working on‑site, you will ensure each mealtime feels relaxed, enjoyable and safely managed.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the dining environment, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards.
• Welcome residents and visitors, providing friendly assistance during meals.
• Serve refreshments and support the smooth flow of mealtimes.
• Collaborate closely with kitchen and care teams to coordinate service.
• Monitor and restock dining supplies and equipment.

Required profile

• Friendly, approachable and professional demeanour.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Attention to detail and high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Positive, reliable attitude; previous customer‑service experience is beneficial but not essential.

• Hourly rate of £12.71 for a 37.5‑hour week.
