Housekeeper (Bank) – Residential Care Home

About the role

We are looking for a Bank Housekeeper to join Ruckland Court Care Home in Lincoln. You will help maintain a clean, safe and homely environment for residents receiving residential and dementia care.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all resident clothing and bedding are washed, pressed and folded to a high standard.
• Clean resident rooms and communal areas thoroughly, leaving no surface unchecked.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the home.
• Identify and report any items out of place or in need of attention.
• Support the wider care team by providing reliable housekeeping services on a bank (flexible) basis.

Required profile

• Proactive, passionate and ambitious attitude.
• Friendly and caring approach with the ability to engage well with residents and their families.
• Experience as a housekeeper or laundry assistant is preferred but not essential.
• Basic knowledge or understanding of the care sector.
