Housekeeper – Flexible Hours in Cambridge

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Housekeeper to join our welcoming hotel team in Cambridge. The role offers flexible full‑time or part‑time shifts, weekly Friday pay and a competitive hourly rate, making it ideal for candidates who value a supportive environment and work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Clean bedrooms, bathrooms and public areas to a high standard.
• Dust, vacuum, sweep and mop floors, and clean interior glass and windows.
• Empty bins and manage recycling.
• Replenish towels, guest amenities and laundry supplies.
• Ensure guest rooms are turned over within a 20‑minute timeframe.
• Maintain overall cleanliness standards throughout the hotel.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or professional cleaning.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends.
• Attention to detail and pride in delivering high standards.
• Reliable, punctual and a positive team attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard cleaning equipment (vacuum cleaners, mops, dusters, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of health and safety cleaning procedures.
