Housekeeper

About the role

Wadworth is looking for a motivated Housekeeper to join our family‑run pubs across the South and West of England. You will play a key part in delivering a clean, welcoming environment for our guests and supporting both front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house teams.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across all areas of the pub, including dining rooms, kitchens, restrooms and back‑of‑house spaces.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, waste disposal and replenishing consumables.
• Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed and that any issues are reported promptly.
• Support front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house teams by providing a tidy environment that enhances the guest experience.

Required profile

• Reliable, punctual and well‑presented.
• Team‑player who enjoys working with both front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house staff.
• Enthusiastic attitude with a good sense of humour.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Experience in housekeeping or cleaning within a hospitality setting (preferred but not mandatory).
• Knowledge of basic health‑and‑safety and hygiene standards.
