About the role
The Housekeeper will support the Accommodation Manager and Domestic Team in delivering a safe, clean and high‑quality living environment for NHS staff. This role involves maintaining accommodation standards, completing mandatory training and promoting a respectful, inclusive atmosphere.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Accommodation Manager and Domestic Team to ensure accommodation areas are safe, clean and efficient.
- Carry out routine cleaning, housekeeping and maintenance tasks to high standards.
- Complete all mandatory training and any additional training relevant to the post.
- Identify knowledge gaps, suggest improvements and seek personal development from senior colleagues.
- Promote dignity, respect and equality by treating all individuals fairly and addressing any behaviour that undermines diversity.

- Professional conduct when interacting with colleagues, service users and visitors.
