Housekeeper (Nursery)

About the role

As a Housekeeper at N Family, you will ensure the nursery environment is clean, safe and welcoming for children, parents and staff. You will work closely with the nursery team to maintain high hygiene standards and support the smooth running of daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain spotless classrooms, kitchens, bathrooms and changing areas.
• Report any broken or faulty equipment to management promptly.
• Manage laundry, stock cleaning supplies and ensure they are stored correctly.
• Water plants and keep the premises fresh and bright.
• Welcome deliveries and organise storage areas.
• Follow COSHH guidelines when using cleaning products to protect health and safety.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role.
• Knowledge of COSHH regulations and Health & Safety practices.
• A caring attitude with a genuine love for working around children and families.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Positive, proactive mindset and strong customer service orientation.
