Housekeeper – Nursing Home

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Housekeeper to join Stanton Court Nursing Home, a specialist residential care facility in Stanton Drew. The role involves maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, with a focus on high standards of hygiene and personal care.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect resident rooms, communal areas, and bathrooms to the highest standards.
• Wash, press, and fold residents’ personal clothing and bedding.
• Monitor and report any maintenance or safety issues observed during cleaning.
• Follow a rotating weekend shift pattern (7:30 am – 3:00 pm) covering 33.75 hours per week.
• Ensure all surfaces are checked and no area is left unattended.

Required profile

• Proactive, caring attitude with a genuine interest in supporting residents.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot items out of place.
• Good communication skills for interaction with residents and their families.
• Access to personal transport due to the home’s rural location.
• Legal right to work in the UK.

Required skills

• None specific technical skills are required; training will be provided.
