Housekeeper (Pub & Hotel)

About the role

We are looking for a Housekeeper to join our family‑run pub and hotel in Burford. The role is central to delivering the high‑standard, welcoming experience our guests expect in our 16 ensuite rooms and public areas.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms, ensuring all standards are met.
• Refresh and tidy public areas, including the bar, dining rooms and beer garden.
• Support the dog‑friendly and family‑friendly environment by preparing rooms and facilities accordingly.
• Report any maintenance issues and collaborate with the management team to resolve them.
• Assist with turnover of rooms to ensure quick readiness for new guests.

Required profile

• Passion for hospitality and a commitment to “going the extra mile” for guests.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team.
• Attention to detail and pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts in a busy pub and hotel setting.
