Housekeeper – Residential Care Home

About the role

Join Hallmark Care Homes as a Housekeeper and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents. You will work closely with the Head Housekeeper to ensure every area of the home meets our high standards of cleanliness and comfort.

Key responsibilities

• Follow the daily cleaning schedule and ensure all rooms and communal areas are spotless.
• Report any defects, damage or maintenance issues promptly.
• Adhere to infection‑control policies, universal precautions and complete required cleaning documentation.
• Participate in health and safety training and act as a champion for safety standards.

Required profile

• Demonstrates outstanding service and a strong work ethic.
• Committed to following the company charter and ethical standards.
• Experience in a domestic or cleaning environment is desirable.
• Familiarity with health and safety practices is a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of standard cleaning procedures and equipment.
• Understanding of infection‑control and health‑safety guidelines.
