Housekeeper – Residential & Dementia Care Home

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team at Shenstone Court Care Home in Halesowen. You will play a vital part in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, many of whom require dementia and short‑term respite care.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all resident rooms, communal areas, and bathrooms are cleaned to the highest standards of hygiene.
• Wash, press, and fold resident clothing and bedding with meticulous attention to detail.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any cleanliness issues.
• Support the care team by maintaining a tidy and organised environment that promotes resident wellbeing.
• Follow health and safety procedures, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.

Required profile

• Proactive, caring attitude with a genuine desire to support residents.
• Excellent eye for detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to engage positively with residents, their families, and colleagues.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
