About the role

Join Strode Park House as a Housekeeping Assistant and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff. This part‑time position offers 16 hours per week at a rate of £12.71 per hour, supporting a residential home that provides nursing care for adults with physical disabilities and complex needs.

Key responsibilities

• Clean bathrooms, bedrooms, and communal areas to a high standard while following infection‑control procedures.
• Respect residents' personal choices and privacy when arranging their living spaces.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met throughout the premises.
• Provide flexible coverage for additional Strode Park sites in Canterbury and Faversham when required.

Required profile

• Compassionate and hardworking individual with a genuine interest in adult care services.
• Team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues and adapt to changing needs.
• Reliable and flexible, able to work weekends, bank holidays, and varied shifts.

Required skills

• Experience with cleaning and housekeeping duties in a residential or care setting.
• Knowledge of infection‑control and health‑and‑safety procedures.
