Housekeeping Assistant – Bank (Camberley)

About the role
We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic Housekeeping Assistant on a bank (flexible) basis to join our award‑winning team at Camberley Heights Care Home. You will work alongside a supportive team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and laundry services for our residents.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out all cleaning duties according to worksheet instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain hotel‑style service standards across all areas of the home.
- Ensure surfaces and furnishings are cleaned using appropriate materials and techniques.
- Respect residents’ dignity, personal space and belongings at all times.
Required profile
- Demonstrated compassion and commitment to delivering high‑quality housekeeping and laundry services.
- Ability to adapt quickly and cover a range of duties on short notice.
- Experience working in a public cleaning or laundry environment.
Required skills
- Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations, including Moving and Handling techniques.
- Understanding of Fire Safety procedures.
- Familiarity with COSHH assessments and safe use of cleaning chemicals.
