Housekeeping Assistant

About the role

Join Bupa’s Canning Court Care Home as a Housekeeping Assistant, helping to create a warm, welcoming environment for residents. You will work on‑site, supporting the daily cleanliness and comfort of communal areas and private rooms.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the home, including vacuuming, mopping, polishing and general upkeep of communal spaces and resident bedrooms.
• Manage housekeeping stock levels for day‑to‑day use and report any issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Collaborate with other housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for residents.

Required profile

• Take pride in delivering work to a high standard and keeping an organised environment.
• Comfortable multitasking and handling multiple requests simultaneously.
• Ability to work well with other teams to keep residents happy and comfortable.
