Housekeeping Attendant – Spa and Wellness

About the role

As a Housekeeping Attendant for the Spa and Wellness area at Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere, you will help maintain a pristine, calming environment that reflects the resort’s luxury heritage. You will ensure the spa spaces are spotless, well‑stocked and ready for guests to enjoy a memorable experience.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation throughout the spa.
• Replenish towels, linens and guest supplies accurately and consistently.
• Follow deep‑cleaning schedules and Fairmont brand cleaning standards.
• Identify and promptly report any maintenance issues.
• Handle guest belongings with discretion and respect.
• Respond to guest requests with a warm, professional attitude.
• Comply with hygiene, COSHH and manual‑handling regulations.
• Participate in daily briefings and ongoing training.
• Manage lost‑and‑found items confidentially.
• Contribute to a positive, supportive team culture and uphold Fairmont grooming and service standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of housekeeping or cleaning experience, preferably in a luxury hotel.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high standards.
• Good knowledge of cleaning techniques, hygiene standards and room presentation.
• Awareness of UK health & safety regulations, including COSHH (training provided).
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
• Professional, courteous and guest‑focused demeanor.
• Physical capability to meet the demands of the role.
• Genuine enthusiasm for luxury hospitality.
