Housekeeping Operative (Full‑time)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Housekeeping Operative to join the team at Holiday Inn Gloucester on a full‑time basis. You will help maintain the high cleaning standards expected by our guests and the brand.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms, corridors and public areas to brand specifications.
• Ensure all linen, amenities and supplies are replenished and presented correctly.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
• Follow health and safety procedures and use cleaning equipment safely.
• Work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet hotel occupancy demands.

Required profile

• Hotel cleaning experience preferred, but not essential – two weeks of training will be provided.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to brand standards.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining strong organisational skills.
• Confident, professional and welcoming personality.
