Housekeeping Supervisor – Camborne

About the role

Sanctuary Care is looking for a motivated Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the cleaning team at Blackwood House in Camborne. You will ensure the home remains safe, clean and welcoming for residents while supporting the development of your team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a small housekeeping team to follow daily cleaning schedules.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, infection control and safety across the residential home.
• Provide day‑to‑day guidance, training and performance feedback to Housekeeping Assistants.
• Collaborate with care staff to support resident wellbeing and a homely environment.

Required profile

• Previous experience delivering housekeeping services, preferably in a residential or care‑home setting.
• Confidence in leading and supporting a small team.
• Strong communication skills and a flexible, positive attitude.
• A caring and respectful approach to working with older people.

Required skills

• Knowledge of infection control and safe cleaning practices.
