Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our cleaning team at Willow Gardens in Bootle. You will ensure the home remains safe, clean and welcoming for residents while supporting a small team of Housekeeping Assistants.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the housekeeping team to follow daily cleaning schedules.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, infection control and safety across the home.
• Provide day‑to‑day guidance, training and performance feedback to Housekeeping Assistants.
• Collaborate with other staff to support residents' wellbeing and overall care quality.
• Monitor stock of cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues.

Required profile

• Previous experience delivering housekeeping services, preferably in a residential or care‑home setting.
• Confidence in leading and supporting a small team.
• Good communication skills and a flexible, positive attitude.
• Commitment to health, safety and infection‑control standards.

Required skills

• Knowledge of infection‑control procedures and safe cleaning practices.
• Ability to organise work schedules and manage supplies.
