Housing & Customer Services Coordinator – Older People’s Schemes

About the role

You will join a respected social housing provider delivering high‑quality services to older residents across the North West. The role focuses on proactive housing management, customer wellbeing and service excellence within sheltered and retirement living schemes in Lytham St Annes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage allocations and lettings, meet void targets and maximise income.
• Attend local authority allocation panels and liaise with care teams and partners.
• Ensure health, safety, wellbeing and safeguarding standards are met across all schemes.
• Maintain a regular onsite presence, identifying and resolving housing or wellbeing concerns.
• Deliver tenancy management, including enforcement and resolution of anti‑social behaviour.
• Complete risk assessments, incident reporting and ensure procedural compliance.
• Work with asset management to monitor repairs and keep residents informed.
• Process purchase orders and invoices accurately and promptly.
• Support resident engagement by organising and leading customer meetings.
• Respond to informal complaints within required timescales.
• Promote partnership working with local authorities, care providers and third‑party agencies.

Required profile

• Knowledge of housing management legislation and tenancy management principles.
• Experience delivering excellent customer service.
• Ability to travel easily between sites in a reactive role.
• Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with diverse customers.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong administrative capability.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a wider team.
• Experience in housing for residents aged 55+.
