Housing First Worker – Support Young Adults in Southampton

About the role

Two Saints is seeking a compassionate Housing First Worker to join our Southampton service. You will support young adults and care leavers experiencing homelessness, helping them build confidence, develop essential life skills, and move towards independent living.

Key responsibilities

• Provide guidance, encouragement and empowerment to clients to achieve personal goals.
• Manage a caseload of young adults, conducting risk assessments and delivering person‑centred outcomes.
• Collaborate with voluntary and statutory agencies, housing regulators and benefits services.
• Ensure safeguarding policies are followed and respond calmly to crises.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to team meetings.

Required profile

• Genuine interest in homelessness and related issues.
• Ability to work positively within a team and handle challenging situations calmly.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Enhanced DBS clearance and a valid driver’s licence.
