Housing Officer – North Cornwall (3‑4 month contract)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Housing Officer to support our client across North Cornwall. This 3‑4 month contract role involves front‑line customer service, tenancy management and community engagement within the Launceston area.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary relationship manager for tenants, handling enquiries and providing support.
• Manage tenancy sign‑ups, viewings and ensure compliance with tenancy agreements.
• Address tenancy breaches, including safeguarding concerns, and coordinate remedial actions.
• Maintain estate standards and oversee service contracts to ensure value for money.
• Deliver resident engagement initiatives and contribute to community development objectives.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to create safe, welcoming environments.

Required profile

• Experience in social housing, tenancy, estate and housing management.
• Strong interpersonal and organisational abilities.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a drive to improve satisfaction.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a suitable vehicle.

What we offer
