Housing Solutions Officer

About the role

The Housing Solutions Officer works proactively with households facing homelessness or the risk of losing their home. You will provide comprehensive advice, help retain current accommodation where possible, and support clients in securing alternative housing.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with private and social tenants, homeowners, and individuals experiencing relationship breakdown or eviction.
• Assess each household's situation and develop practical, reasonable steps to prevent or relieve homelessness.
• Deliver tailored advice and assistance to help clients retain their current home or find suitable alternative accommodation.
• Monitor performance targets and contribute to the development of the service.
• Promote the client’s services and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Support the Team Manager in service planning and delivery.

Required profile

• Experience working with vulnerable or complex‑need households.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet performance targets.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality customer service.

Required skills
