Housing Support Officer / Scheme Manager

About the role

The Housing Support Officer / Scheme Manager will ensure safe, welcoming housing schemes for older and vulnerable residents while providing day‑to‑day support. Working across Stanwell, Staines, Surrey and Bromley, you will act as the main point of contact for residents, families and external agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out health, safety and fire checks and keep accurate records.
• Provide person‑centred resident support using assessments, ILPs and risk logs.
• Support viewings, tenancy sign‑ups and induction meetings.
• Manage tenancy terminations, move‑outs and minimise void periods.
• Identify and act on safeguarding concerns in line with policy.
• Liaise with contractors, lettings teams and partner organisations.
• Maintain tenancy processes, record‑keeping and scheme standards.

Required profile

• Full driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
• Organised, compassionate and strong customer‑service orientation.
• Experience in sheltered, retirement or supported housing roles.
• Ability to work 35 hours per week, Monday‑Friday.
