HR Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a highly organised HR Administrator to support a busy logistics operation. You will provide day‑to‑day administrative assistance to the HR team, ensuring accurate employee data and smooth HR processes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date employee records and HR databases in line with company policy and GDPR.
• Produce regular HR reports on absence, turnover, headcount, recruitment and performance.
• Analyse data using Excel and HR systems to identify trends and provide insights.
• Support the full recruitment cycle – advertise vacancies, arrange interviews and manage onboarding.
• Prepare contracts of employment, offer letters and other HR documentation.
• Assist payroll administration by keeping employee information accurate.
• Respond to employee and manager queries with professional HR support.
• Contribute to HR projects and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Previous experience in HR administration, HR assistant or a similar role.
• CIPD Level 3 qualification (or currently studying).
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Effective communication and customer‑service skills.
• Experience in logistics, transport, warehousing or manufacturing is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with HR information systems and databases.
