HR Advisor – 6‑Month Fixed Term Contract

About the role

This 6‑month fixed‑term position supports a busy operational team in Burntisland, combining day‑to‑day HR delivery with a strategic transformation project. You will work in a hybrid model, spending most of your time onsite while helping to shape future HR processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and advise on a high‑volume employee relations caseload.
• Lead or oversee elements of the Civica MyHR system implementation.
• Provide day‑to‑day HR guidance to managers and improve workflows.
• Supervise two HR Administrators, offering support and oversight.
• Review and refine existing HR workflows for efficiency and accuracy.
• Produce accurate HR documentation, notes and correspondence.
• Ensure compliance with employment law, company policy and best practice.

Required profile

• Solid background as an HR Advisor.
• Proven end‑to‑end experience managing employee relations cases.
• Strong administrative capability with excellent organisation and accuracy.
• Proactive, confident and motivated to improve systems and processes.
• Experience supporting HR systems or projects is an advantage.
• Ability to work onsite in Burntisland 3–4 days per week.
