HR Advisor – Full or Part‑Time

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious HR Advisor to join a fast‑growing manufacturing group. The role can be full‑time or part‑time and offers a clear pathway to an HR Manager position as the business expands.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to off‑boarding.
• Advise managers on employee‑relations matters including absence, disciplinaries, grievances and performance.
• Coordinate recruitment activities and support hiring managers throughout the process.
• Maintain HR records, contracts and employee documentation.
• Review and update HR policies, procedures and compliance documentation.
• Support payroll by communicating employee changes, holidays and absence.
• Promote employee wellbeing and engagement in partnership with managers.
• Assist with Health & Safety administration and compliance across both sites.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes as the business scales.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an HR Advisor, HR Generalist or similar role.
• Experience supporting employee‑relations cases.
• Good understanding of UK employment legislation.
• CIPD Level 3 or above (or equivalent experience).
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Proactive, hands‑on approach with confidence to build relationships at all levels.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering or a technical environment (advantageous but not essential).
