HR Advisor

About the role

We are seeking an HR Advisor to support our HR Business Partners and site leadership teams across the United Kingdom. The role combines strategic HR planning with hands‑on employee support, requiring a balance of advisory expertise and operational delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Assist HRBP and site leaders in delivering the strategic business and HR plan.
• Support managers in developing people‑management capabilities and improving employee satisfaction, performance and retention.
• Provide HR guidance on employee relations, policy, recruitment and key projects.
• Advise managers on HR policies, legislation and best practice.
• Contribute to workforce planning, organisation design and talent forecasting.
• Manage disciplinary, grievance and sickness‑absence cases, including investigations and Occupational Health liaison.
• Collaborate on sickness management, redeployment and return‑to‑work initiatives.
• Supply accurate HR data to HRBP and managers for process delivery.

Required profile

• Previous HR experience (essential).
• Case management experience (essential).
• Strong organisational skills (essential).
• Experience within a logistics business (desirable).
• CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent (desirable).
• Ability to communicate with multiple stakeholder groups.
• Motivation to develop in a fast‑paced, site‑based environment.
